Day 1 - Atlanta
Fly from London Heathrow direct to Atlanta, Georgia. Collect your car from the airport and head downtown for your overnight at the Loews Atlanta Hotel (parking at hotel approx US$26)
Choose to either spend a few hours exploring downtown Atlanta such as the World of Coco-Cola or the Georgia Aquarium or take a diversion via the Chattahoochee National Forest to Chattanooga in Tennessee. Visit or stay in the iconic Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel located in the former Terminal Station. Another hotel worth visiting is the Delta Queen which floats on the river. Take a wander around the Tennessee River Walk, a lively spot with attractions.
Spend the day exploring the highlights in and around Chattanooga. Explore the Rock City Gardens and discover ancient rock formations and wind your way through rock boulders and caverns. Day 4 - Chattanooga - Great Smoky Mountains National Park (130 miles)
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a beautiful national park situated by the borders of Tennessee and North Carolina. We recommend staying in the towns of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge where it is possible to stay in a full-service resort in a original lodge cabin.

Day 5 - Smoky Mountains & Pigeon Forge/Dollywood
Situated in Pigeon Forge is the Dollywood Theme Park filled to the brim with fun amusements and exhilarating rides. It's owned by Dolly Parton who can sometimes be spotted around the park, and brings an interesting musical influence to the park.
Day 6 - Smoky Mountains - Nashville (205 miles)
Travel onto vibrant Nashville where music runs through the city's soul. Visit the Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (the entrance fee is included in your holiday), the RCA Studio B and experience a traditional honky tonk. This is truly the place for country music lovers and the place to soak up the sounds of the Deep South.
Day 7 - Nashville
Journey outside the town to the Jack Daniel's Distillery for an hour's complimentary tour. Just outside downtown Nashville also lies the Hermitage Plantation, once the home of the President Andrew Jackson, or the Belle Meade Plantation.
Day 8 - Nashville - Memphis (215 miles)
Journey today from one great city in Tennessee to another, Memphis. The home of blues and Rock N Roll this city is bursting with music. Included in your holiday is entrance to Elvis Presley's Graceland. Elvis fans might also wish to walk in his shoes in the Sun Studio.
Day 9 - Memphis
Explore the attractions of Memphis further with a visit to the Rock N Soul Museum and the National Civil Rights Museum, built on the site of Martin Luther King’s assassination. In the evening, head to Beale Street for a fun night out Memphis style.
Day 10 - Memphis
Travel from Memphis back to the UK or alternatively extend your stay with a visit to another location in the Deep South region.
