For over 65 years, Flathead Lake Lodge has welcomed visitors to this family-run guest ranch. Started by Les Averill and inspired by his boyhood dream, Flathead Lake Lodge has evolved to become a highly-acclaimed dude ranch with many repeat visitors. Uniquely situated in a private bay on the largest natural fresh water lake in the West, Flathead Lake Lodge is a family-friendly guest ranch and the perfect destination for your riding holiday.
Accommodation furnished in a western style consists of historic log lodges and rustic cabins set amidst the wooded trees. Home-cooked western meals can be enjoyed by the fireplace and meals may consist of fresh caught lake trout, bison tenderloin, homemade huckleberry pancakes and the lodge’s well-known ‘undone’ brownies. In the evenings, there is a happy hour on the deck of the Saddle Sore Saloon and during your stay there may be; a team roping demonstration, steak fry cookout with live music, barrel racing competition and a barn dance.
The ranch is open from mid June until late August with 7 night stays starting on Sundays.
