Set in 40 acres of land, the Dunleith Historic Inn was originally built in 1856 yet parts of the property date to the 1790s including the carriage house, dairy barn and stables. Once called Routhland House, the Dunleith Historic Inn has a collection of 22 rooms.
Accommodations are spread throughout the main house, these are considered the most spacious and well appointed and also in the attached building and the dairy barn rooms which have a cottage style to them.
At Dunleith Historic Inn, a complimentary southern breakfast is served as well as a complimentary snack time from 4:30 to 6:30pm including hors d’oeuvres, sweet tea and cocktails. At The Castle Restaurant, set in the original carriage house and stables, southern cuisine is served on the menu including dishes such as crab cakes and bread pudding.
The Courtyard First Floor Rooms
The Courtyard First Floor Rooms are situated on the ground level and attached to the Main House. There is a king size bed, gas fireplace, bath amenities, wireless internet and a complimentary breakfast.
The Courtyard Second Floor Rooms
The Courtyard Second Floor Rooms are intimate rooms and feature cypress ceilings. These rooms are accessible by a staircase and furnished with a king size bed and gas fireplace.
The Main House Second Floor Rooms
The Main House Second Floor Rooms are large and charming featuring antique beds, a 14 foot high ceiling and access is via the staircase.
