Since 1926 the Benbow Inn has welcomed visitors to this unspoilt area of the North Coast. The property features an array of Historical Rooms, Terrace Rooms and Vacation Cottages. It is ideally situated for visiting the Avenue of the Giants only six miles away, the village of Ferndale, the black sand beaches of Shelter Cove and the shops and galleries of Garberville.
Both the Historical Rooms and Terrace Rooms have a bathroom, hair dryer, telephone, clock radio and ironing board; however the Terrace Rooms are the only ones with televisions. The Vacation Cottages feature a queen size bed, a sleeper sofa, a room with a bunk bed for children, a television and a kitchen equipped with an oven, stove, fridge, microwave and cutlery and plates.
The Benbow Inn has a 9 hole golf course, fine dining at the restaurant and lounge with drinks service. Services include English tea and scones complimentary 3pm daily, happy hour on weekdays, an outdoor pool and Jacuzzi and bicycles for complimentary use.
Historical Queen rooms have a queen size bed, winged back chair and view of the terrace or garden. There are no televisions.
Twin size rooms have two single beds, winged back chairs and a view of the terrace, garden, stone bridge or Reed Mountain.
Deluxe Queen rooms are slightly larger than Historical Queen rooms and feature a view of the terrace, garden, stone bridge or Reed Mountain.
Premium Queen rooms have a queen size bed, winged back chair and a corner location. There are views of Stone Bridge and Eel River or Reed Mountain.
These rooms offer a view of Reed Mountain and the Rose Garden and have a California king size bed and bay windows.
Queen Balcony rooms are extremely popular and have a queen size bed, winged back chairs and a corner view overlooking the Benbow patio.
