El Tovar, located on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, has welcomed guests (including Theodore Roosevelt and Albert Einstein) for over 100 years.
Over the years it became a Registered National Historic Landmark and is now the most upscale lodging available within the park. El Tovar was most recently renovated in 2005 yet has maintained its lodge charm.
El Tovar has a total of 78 rooms and suites equipped with air conditioning and a cable television and two queen beds or a king in Deluxe Rooms. The top accommodations at the hotel, greatly in demand, are the three suites with views of the rim!
Known to be the best place to eat within the Grand Canyon, El Tovar’s Dining Room is decorated in stone and pine and the best seats in the house are the window seats looking towards the rim. After a day exploring the impressive Grand Canyon National Park, relax in the lounge and also on the veranda where you can enjoy great views and a drive.
Standard: These rooms have one queen or one double bed.
Deluxe: Deluxe rooms have a king bed or two queen beds.
