Bolivian Highlights

Landlocked Bolivia is home to some of Latin America’s most dramatic landscapes. From La Paz; set deep within a canyon with Mount Illimani dominating the skyline, to shimmering Lake Titicaca and the truly unique landscape that is the salt flats of Uyuni.

This intrepid journey takes in the country’s main highlights. Start in the country’s tropical city of Santa Cruz, before moving on to beautiful whitewashed Sucre with its colonial grandeur. The otherworldly Uyuni Salt Flats will leave you truly speechless, before you head off to the La Paz, with an unmissable mix of colonial architecture and bustling, colourful indigenous markets. The world’s highest navigable lake, Lake Titicaca, is essential in any visit to Bolivia; home to traditional Aymara villages and surrounded by glacier capped peaks, the sapphire blue lake is dotted with little islands, all easily explored by boat.

Take inspiration from this tour for your own trip to Bolivia; all our itineraries are flexible and can be altered, extended or amended according to your preferences. Alternatively, our team of Destination Experts will be happy to tailor-make a personalised itinerary for your holiday.
