Located at the summit of the stunning Isla del Sol, the Posada del Inca Eco Lodge boasts a great location for a secluded retreat. The lodge’s building was once a colonial-era hacienda, and now features 20 comfortable rooms with a rustic style, decorated simply with handcrafted furnishings in keeping with the Isla del Sol’s archaeological heritage.
Each room at the lodge overlooks the beautiful gardens and offers a private bathroom, hot shower and electric blankets for cold nights. There is no Wifi, television or radio at the lodge, allowing guests to completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and truly connect with the nature that surrounds the island. The lodge’s restaurant serves traditional Andean dishes and the lounge is home to a cosy fireplace to warm guests up as they enjoy the breath-taking views across the snow-topped Andean landscape. The lodge is the ideal base from which to explore the island’s major highlights, such as the sacred Puma Rock and the Inca Steps.
