LUX*South Ari Atoll (previously called LUX*Maldives) is an excellent venture of high-scaled services and tailored luxury.
Offering a wide range room options varying by size, there are 18 interconnecting rooms available as well as spacious Family water villas depending on the size of your family and your needs. One of the few family-friendly properties in the Maldives, it is well-equipped with both a kids’ and teens’ club within the facilities to entertain children of all ages.
The resort’s white sand beach is perfect for some quality family time out in the sun. Sitting in front of the warm and calm sea, the waters is ideal for children to have a short bath or frolic along the shoreline.
If looking to get your kids involved with indoor activities, a range of arts and crafts, age appropriate cooking classes, and other sports are included on the hotel’s programme, all offered under supervision.
The teen’s club gives your older children a chance to socialise and to also offers activities such as video games and an area where you can listen to music and relax. Other activities include table tennis, Darts, and Billiards.
Couples that enjoy diving will enjoy a location renowned for being one of the best dive sites in the world. LUX South Ari Atoll is around 25 minutes from Male by seaplane transfer.
Choose from one of 193 rooms and suites that are located either on the beach or over water with direct access to the beach or lagoon via their private terrace. Honeymooners love the breathtaking ocean views that the Water Villas offer and have the option of a room on the sunrise or sunset side of the island. Our recommendation though is the Prestige Water Villas that are away from the main resort areas and offer the best in privacy, peace and quiet.
The choice of restaurants at the resort is incredible, more than you will find on most Maldivian islands and you will find a wonderful variety of cuisines on offer. It is also home to one of the largest spas in the Maldives where you can have treatments in rooms set in the gardens or over water. The resort also boasts a 5-star Euro Divers PADI dive centre. There are also a range of land and water sports to enjoy.
