The best period to visit the Maldives tends to be the months between November and April, which mark the hot summer season and the liveliest period for resorts and hotels. Although diving conditions are good all year round, May and June can be more unsettled, with choppier sea conditions and higher rainfall.
Emirates offer direct flights to the Maldives from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow. British Airways also offer one direct flight from Gatwick, while Quatar Airways and Eithad Airways have flights from Heathrow and Manchester.
