Day 3 - Delhi
Full day guided tour of the city, taking in the major sights of Old & New Delhi. Sights include the Jama Masjid Mosque commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, builder of the Taj Mahal. Day 4 - Drive or take a train to Agra
Early this morning transfer to the station for the Gatimaan Express train to Agra (90 mins). (Or you could also drive to Agra after a comfortable breakfast). This morning there is an optional extra early morning sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. Later this morning drive to Jaipur (a five hour journey). En route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri the deserted city of Akbar, a world heritage site before continuing to Jaipur, arriving late this afternoon. Spend the rest of your day at leisure. Day 6 - Jaipur

Day 7 - Jaipur
Today you can enjoy the day at leisure. Today you proceed on to experience the Indian Summers at Shimla. Fly to Chandigarh via Delhi on an internal flight and drive to Shimla. Day 11 - Shimla to Mumbai via Chandigarh
