Opened at the end of 2013, Point Yamu by COMO is located on a peninsula on the east coast of Phuket, its hilltop setting enjoying uninterrupted views over the waters of Phang Nga Bay.
As you would expect from a COMO Resort, architecture and decor is stylish and contemporary; chic and sleek. The 79 rooms and suites are decorated with white linens and splashes of blue and enjoy views across Phang Nga Bay or inland across the Cape. The pool suites boast private pools. An additional 27 one and two bedroom private pool villas will be added to the inventory at the end of September 2014.
You can easily while away a day by the 100 metre infinity pool, gazing at the panoramic sea views before retreating to the signature COMO Shambhala Spa for one of the Asian-inspired treatments. If you feel the need to be active the activities team can arrange a Point Yamu cycling tour, sea canoe exploration, an island hopping cruise, snorkelling and diving or work up a sweat in the gym.
When it comes to dining choose simple authentic Italian cuisine at La Sirena or Nahmyaa's Thai street food inspired menu. The inventive selection of cocktails at Aqua Bar are not to be missed!
