A global centre of culture, commerce and technology, Hong Kong is a lively city divided by the harbour.
To the south is Hong Kong Island where the main shopping malls and business district can be found. Kowloon, which sits to the north, has a noticeably more Asian atmosphere. We recommend exploring the city by foot and Star Ferry, which allows you to be drawn into the frenetic energy of the night markets and local customs.

One of the most vibrant and charismatic cities in the Far East, Hong Kong is the quintessential fusion of East and West; multicutural modernity with ancient chinese traditions. This bustling city is divided into two: on the south side of the harbour lies Hong Kong Island, home to the main business district, Kowloon on the north side has a more Asian vibe and Victoria Peak offers panoramic city and harbour views, best enjoyed at sunset as the lights down below twinkle against the coloured sky.
Our helpful Far East team are frequent visitors to the vibrant city of Hong Kong, regularly returning to the resorts and hotels that we sell in order to stay up to date with all the latest developments. Not only do they know Hong Kong like the back of their hands, they are truly passionate about it too, and committed to ensuring that you soon feel the same way.
While Hong Kong is considered a year-round destination, the best time to visit Hong Kong is generally from October to December, when the weather is warm and the rainy season has ended. The winter months of January and February are generally wet and cold, while in the height of summer (June to September) it is hot and humidity is very high. As the climate of Hong Kong is sub-tropical, some rain and humidity can be expected throughout the year, with August being the wettest month.
