Itinerary


Phnom Penh
Day 1 - Phnom Penh
Embark the ship at 0800 hrs. You will then be captivated by a lecture on Cambodia’s modern history, followed by a city tour of the capital city of Cambodia that will include the Royal Palace the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum. After lunch, visit the Genocide museum and the Killing Fields. Return to the ship and relax. The evening starts with a cocktails served on the sun deck. Take a seat and enjoy an Apsara dance performance. Overnight in Phnom Penh (B,L,D).
Phnom Penh - Kampong Cham
Day 2 - Phnom Penh - Kampong Cham
Set sail before the break of dawn from Phnom Penh with a stop at the little known Chong Koh silk weaving village. You will then cruise past the Mekong’s villages, watching the river life. Stop for a tour of rural Angkor Ban village where time stood still and you are transported back a hundred years into an era unsullified by modernity and you can take part in the daily activities of the villagers. Then, head back to the ship to cruise towards Kampong Cham. Overnight in Kampong Cham (B,L,D)
Kampong Cham – Wat Hanchey
Day 3 - Kampong Cham – Wat Hanchey
An early start to embark on a journey to Wat Hanchey. Either take a motor-taxi or climb 291 steps to the top offering one of the most breath-taking views in Cambodia. Return to witness a blessing ceremony performed by orange-clad local monks. Enjoy a surprise sojourn in the ship's inflatable boats to swim in the teacoloured Mekong River. You will then cruise towards Kampong Cham to visit Wat Nokor. On the way back to the Ship, visit an orphanage. Overnight cruise to Kampong Chhnang (B,L,D).
Kampong Chhnang
Day 4 - Kampong Chhnang
Before the sun peeks over the horizon, the cruiser sets sail towards Kampong Chhnang on the Tonle River. Approach Kampong Chhnang, take a motorboat excursion to land, followed by a bus trip to Aundaung Russey village. Then, it is back to the river for an adventurous motorboat excursion to the wetlands, floating houses and fish farms in the region. Return to the Ship for lunch. In the evening you will get the chance to learn some Cambodian dance moves from the ship's staff! (B,L,D)
Tonle Sap - Siem Reap
Day 5 - Tonle Sap - Siem Reap
This lake dominates Cambodia and is the largest freshwater lake in Asia with abundant birdlife. The water level varies according to the time of the year and the amount of rainfall recorded. Thus, minor changes to the itinerary may occur during different seasons. Your Heritage Line journey comes to an end as you reach this city of the fabled Angkor temple complex. Cross the Tonle Lake at dawn and at 0900 hrs disembark at the Siem Reap Port for coach transfer to the drop off point in town (B)
