This is a land wove with culture and religion, where monthly festivals and ceremonies are waiting for you to experience.

Exploring The Outer Islands

Off the east coast of Sumbawa lies Komodo National Park, a group of majestic islands including Komodo, Rinca and Flores. Come here to encounter the largest and most powerful lizard in the world – The Komodo Dragon. This prehistoric reptile is unique to Indonesia and a major point of interest in the outer islands. With unspoilt volcanic landscape and an abundance of wildlife, these islands are perfect for escaping back to nature.

Bali Guide

Why Bali?

Attracting visitors from around the world, Bali is the most popular of the Indonesian Islands and is a haven of beautiful beaches nestled against majestic volcanoes, paddy fields interspered with buddhist temples and stylish hotels. Among all this weaves a magic, a buzz in the air and a charm that exudes from the people and the places of this tropical paradise.

Why Bali with us?

Our enthusiastic team of East Asia experts have visited Bali numerous times, and stay constantly updated with up-to-the-minute information about the destinations we sell as well as frequently revisiting them. Not only do they know the country inside out, but they are truly passionate about it too – and committed to ensuring that you end up loving it as much as they do.

When is the best time to visit Bali?

Bali and Lombok can be visited year-round, enjoying average tropical temperatures of 30°C. The area has two distinct seasons: dry season between April and October; wet season from November to March when humidity levels are higher and rain comes in sudden tropical downpours. The peak tourist season occurs in July and August as well as over the Christmas and New Year period.

How do I get to Bali?

Singapore Airlines offer flights to Bali from Heathrow or Manchester via Singapore, as well as a service to Lombok (the smaller neighbouring island). Cathay Pacific fly from Heathrow via Hong Kong, and Malaysia Airlines from Heathrow via Kuala Lumpar.
