After finishing university I embarked on an travelling adventure though South East Asia and thoroughly enjoyed lazing on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I would never have imagined that years later I would still be able to combine my passion for travel with my job, but this time around staying in some of the most luxurious hotels in the world!
Where I have travelled recently
In the past few years, I have travelled to the charming island of Grenada, the beaches and all inclusive resorts of the Riviera Maya, bustling Las Vegas and to Arizona to see the White Stallion Ranch and Tanque Verde Ranch. I loved staying on these ranches for the first time, the warmth of the owners was truly special!
Most Memorable Experience
Swimming in a natural environment with the turtles in the Maldives is a fantastic experience. and one I would love to do again.
My Favourite Destination
Havana remains one of my favourite cities with its beautiful architecture, classic cars, friendly people and a lively music scene. The Caribbean is a great destination if, like me, you want to escape the British winter for some sunshine.
My Favourite Accommodation
In the Far East, I would return to the Samaya Ubud time and time again. With beautiful views, a private pool and outstanding service, this is the Balinese hotel for me.
The Cocoa Island in the Maldives is Robinson Crusoe luxury at its finest. The amazing house reef and fab food are memorable highlights of my stay here.
Destination Expertise & Hotels Visited
Absolutely gorgeous resort with beautiful coral white beaches. The upgrade to a water villa is definitely recommended; they are well appointed, nicely decorated and spacious. No house reef - but the resort do offer free snorkelling trips to nearby reefs which are, quite frankly, stunning. Food is very good with a wide range of tastes and cuisines catered for. Staff are incredibly helpful and courteous - nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommended
