After finishing university I embarked on an travelling adventure though South East Asia and thoroughly enjoyed lazing on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I would never have imagined that years later I would still be able to combine my passion for travel with my job, but this time around staying in some of the most luxurious hotels in the world!
Where I have travelled recently
In the past few years, I have travelled to the charming island of Grenada, the beaches and all inclusive resorts of the Riviera Maya, bustling Las Vegas and to Arizona to see the White Stallion Ranch and Tanque Verde Ranch. I loved staying on these ranches for the first time, the warmth of the owners was truly special!
Most Memorable Experience
Swimming in a natural environment with the turtles in the Maldives is a fantastic experience. and one I would love to do again.
My Favourite Destination
Havana remains one of my favourite cities with its beautiful architecture, classic cars, friendly people and a lively music scene. The Caribbean is a great destination if, like me, you want to escape the British winter for some sunshine.
My Favourite Accommodation
In the Far East, I would return to the Samaya Ubud time and time again. With beautiful views, a private pool and outstanding service, this is the Balinese hotel for me.
The Cocoa Island in the Maldives is Robinson Crusoe luxury at its finest. The amazing house reef and fab food are memorable highlights of my stay here.
Destination Expertise & Hotels Visited
Great trip - a good price compared to other agents, thanks Sally. The lounge passes and private transfers to hotel in Mauritius after a long flight - excellent touch. Would use Western & Oriental again.

Western & Oriental were absolutely fab from the moment I enquired about the holiday to the paperwork that was sent on time. Everything that was promised by Western & Oriental was fully delivered - there were no surprises. I must also give an extra thank you to Sally Rushbrooke who was also brilliant in terms of her expertise, knowledge and her prompt responses to my emails.Overall a 10/10 for the company and I look forward to using you again for future holidays.

We have just returned from 14 nights at the Maritim hotel. I have been to this island on other occasions staying on all four sides. The Maritim is a hotel l would return to, firstly because it sits on the calmest waters in the sunniest part of the Island and secondly because it was the best service and professionalism of staff l have experienced in Mauritius All hotels have their positives and negatives but the Maritim is a super efficient, well organised stand out hotel. This hotel listens to reviews and their guests and acts on all feedback. The staff are well trained, polite and courteous, and although the same can be said at the other hotels, the staff were of the highest standards in all areas of the estate from beach service team, gardeners, cleaners, catering and reception, nothing was too much trouble. The prestige colonial style rooms are large and perfect, the best. Only negative no ironing board in rooms and the Banyan Asian restaurant feels like the over flow from Belle Vue Buffet no ambience or atmosphere of an oriental feel.

Absolutely gorgeous resort with beautiful coral white beaches. The upgrade to a water villa is definitely recommended; they are well appointed, nicely decorated and spacious. No house reef - but the resort do offer free snorkelling trips to nearby reefs which are, quite frankly, stunning. Food is very good with a wide range of tastes and cuisines catered for. Staff are incredibly helpful and courteous - nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommended

Our honeymoon was absolutely fantastic and surpassed expectations. Many thanks to Sally for arranging the room upgrade - really appreciated. Can only say positive things about the hotel and the staff there - gorgeous resort, attentive service, excellent food and great value with the Full Board Plus option. We visited the Spa three times and thoroughly enjoyed being pampered and buffed ahead of our return journey. Overall, the ideal destination for a honeymoon, a romantic holiday and even a family visit - the resort appeared to be very well geared up for kids with clubs and activities to give the parents a well earned rest. Please do not hesitate to recommend this resort to your clients!

Sally Rushbrooke was fab with helping me with this holiday. Eastin Grand was a most fabulous hotel, with prices the same as the Anantara one you recommend- location of eastin was amazing, rooms fab. Angsana Laguna lovely location, lovely and clean, expensive to eat and drink, but you just go out and its easy. Some areas need a bit of maintenance, but reasonable value . Magical holiday all in all. Oh and transfers with Asia World were great .
