Suggested Itinerary of Nambia

At Damaraland in the Huab River valley, one of the best wilderness areas in Namibia, we seek out the gathering places of the rare desert elephant. Then, along the remote and eerily beautiful Skeleton Coast in the northern reaches of the great Namib Desert, we explore a unique ecology and search for the ghosts of lost ships.

In the Omboroko Mountains we visit remarkable Okonjima and view at first hand the excellent work of the conservation organisation, the AfriCat Foundation, before flying into the vast Etosha National Park to experience one of Africa's finest wildlife destinations - the concentration of game here is remarkable.

Finally we reach the country's intriguing capital, Windhoek, with its fascinating colonial German history. Truly a journey to savour.

Day 1
London/Windhoek
Depart London for Windhoek on your overnight flight.

Day 2
Windhoek/Damaraland
Arrive Windhoek and connect with your private charter flight to Damaraland for a 2 night stay at Damaraland Camp. (B,L,D)

Day 4
Damaraland/Skeleton Coast
After breakfast take the charter flight to the Skeleton Coast where you stay for 3 nights. (B,L,D)

Day 7
Skeleton Coast/Okonjima
Following a morning drive, fly by charter to Okonjima for a stay of 2 nights at Okonjima Bush Camp. (B,L,D)

Day 9
Okonjima/Ongava Game Reserve
Private charter flight to Ongava Game Reserve in the Etosha, to stay at Little Ongava for 2 nights. (B,L,D)

Day 11
Ongava Game Reserve/Windhoek
After a game drive and brunch, take the private charter and fly back to Windhoek, for overnight at the Hotel Heinitzberg. (B)

Day 12
Windhoek/London
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to London.

Day 13
London
Arrive London in the morning.
