VIBRANT DELHI
The colour, the life, the dynamism of Delhi greets you like nothing else on earth. Your full day tour takes you to the Old City with the Jama Masjid Mosque and Red Fort, as well as Qutab Minar tower and the Tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in New Delhi, where you will see buildings befitting the modern day capital city of India. A true contrast of modern and old.
TRANQUIL AGRA
By train to nearby historic Agra, a city full of history and importance. Your sightseeing tour will take in the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, Agra Fort, and of course the magnificent Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan.
HILL FORT, KESROLI
Your private driver will take you to the village of Kesroli via a visit of Fatehpur Sikri, deserted now, but built at the height of the Mughal empire's splendor. Experience rural village life and stay in the wonderful 14th century Hill Fort heritage hotel before driving on to Jaipur.
JAIPUR, AND URGENTLY DOES IT
Jaipur was once an independent princely state whose wealth and influence was immense in North India. An elephant can majestically take you to the Amber Fort, one of the most fascinating in India. Later in the day you will explore the City Palace, the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, as well as the Jantar Mantar Astrological Observatory. Included in your visit to Jaipur is time to be tempted by beautiful silks, gemstones, jewellery, enamelwork and dhurries in the bazaars.
ENCHANTING VILLAGES, STUNNING COUNTRYSIDE - NEEMRANA
Then on to Neemrana and a stay at the heritage hotel of Neemrana Fort Palace. Located in the Aravalli ranges, Neemrana is a restful area where you can explore the neighbouring villages and countryside of Rajasthan. Then it is back to Delhi and your return flight to London.
