HAJAR MOUNTAINS

AN EXCLUSIVE OASIS

Set in 225 square kilometres of desert sanctuary, the Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa is a retreat of unabashed luxury. Laid out in the style of a Bedouin encampment, the 40 huge tented suites are surrounded by vast expanses of desert dunes with the Hajar Mountains in the distance.

A MAGICAL ARABIAN EXPERIENCE

Carefully designed to harmonise with the spectacular surroundings, the suites draw inspiration from traditional architecture. Each suite is wonderfully private and has a large verandah, private dip pool and opulent furnishings. Horse-riding, sand-skiing, falcon training and camel safaris can be arranged, or you may prefer simply unwinding by the tranquil pool - relaxation is the key here, epitomised by the new state-of-the-art Jamilah Spa. In the early mornings and evenings guests can venture to the nearby oasis to watch rare and elusive desert animals.
