Located on the tip of Manda Island, one of a number of unspoilt islands in the romantic Lamu archipelago off Kenya�s northern coast, Manda Bay lies in calm waters on a long protected sandy beach. A small exclusive lodge of 10 attractively furnished cottages, constructed from local materials and blending unobtrusively with the landscape, five are set right on the seafront with the remainder amongst the surrounding palms.

Encircled by splendid coral gardens, the island has miles of soft white sand, fascinating creeks and small islets to explore. Marine life abounds and the lodge has its own 60ft traditional dhow for short sea safaris with regular sightings of dolphin, turtle and the occasional humpback whale.
