BEAUTY OF THE BUSHVELD

Just west of Grahamstown,only an hour by car from Port Elizabeth, and set in the Eastern Cape�s beautiful landscape of thornveld, grassland and forest, this vast malaria-free private reserve is home to an extraordinary range of wildlife, including the 'Big 5'. The reserve's Safari Lodge is made up of a series of stone and thatch waterfront cottages set amongst dense bushveld and sitting high in a lovely position overlooking Lake Kariega.

LAKESIDE HIGHLIFE

Connected by meandering timber walkways, the 12 cottages are a luxurious indulgence, every one having an outside shower and plunge pool, with a wide private timber deck providing superb treetop views of wilderness and water.
