OVERLOOKING THE RIVER Located in the heart of the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve on the banks of the Groot Marico River, is the luxurious Madikwe River Lodge. Sixteen split-level thatched chalets are set in the riverine forest. Individually decorated, each chalet has an en-suite bathroom, shower and a private viewing deck overlooking the river where there are frequent sightings of game. OUTDOOR DINING Experienced game rangers will take you on game drive or game walks to explore this diverse game reserve where you will observe the 'Big Five' and a myriad of birdlife in their natural habitat. During the heat of the day relax on the sun deck surrounding the swimming pool at the main lodge and in the evening dine around the boma located on a central island, accessed by a wooden bridge over the river. |
