RIVERSIDE PALACE
This beautiful palace is situated on the banks of the Chambal River. Originally built in 1830 as the British Residency, it now belongs to the Maharaja of Kota who maintains his residence here and, together with his family, runs the palace as a small, personal hotel. Terraced gardens lead down to the river whilst the large bedrooms retain much of their original furnishings with past hunting trophies and photographs adorning the walls.
