Offering an outstanding level of service, The St. Regis Princeville is a truly luxurious resort set in the beautiful community of Princeville at Hanalei Bay on the north shore of Kauai. The resort offers 251 elegant accommodations, two award-winning golf courses and five gourmet dining venues.
Choose from spacious rooms to luxurious suites, there are 51suites in total and these benefit from the legendary St. Regis butler service. The resort’s 5000 square feet infinity pool looking out to the ocean is simply beautiful. Spend time here or on the soft sand beach with beach butler service, where it is possible to receive Oceanside massages. Princeville beach is one of two beaches in Hawaii where you are allowed to consume alcohol. Nearby to the hotel, many watersports can be enjoyed such as snorkelling in the coral reef (equipment is complimentary), jet-skiing and stand-up paddle boarding (available at nearby outfitters).
Children can attend the Young Voyager’s Club, for ages 5-12 open daily (at an additional fee), whilst you enjoy treatments at the Spa or playing golf. The St. Regis is home to the spectacular Prince and Makai courses, comprising 27 holes, and facing the ocean. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, these courses accept any level. If golf is not for you but you'd still like to enjoy the legendary views from the courses, then take a golf cart out at sunset with a map, provided by the hotel, and explore the great viewpoints (at an additional fee).
Dining at the St. Regis Princeville can be enjoyed at the Kauai Grill, Makana Terrace (open for breakfast and dinner) and the Nalu Kai Grill and Bar. Whilst drinks and snacks can be enjoyed at the St. Regis Bar and Napali Café. Special dining events include the Maliani Dinner Show, Sunday Brunch and not forgetting the champagne sabering event nightly. If you're lucky from the terrace of the restaurant, from mid-November to mid-March, it might be possible to see some of the number of whales that journey past Kauai. Additionally, huge waves can be seen, but don't worry, you won't experience these at the beach as the waves break further out.
We recommend hiring a car for your stay at the St. Regis Princeville so you can explore the rest of rural Kauai. You might wish to kayak the Hanalei River and a local company can arrange ziplining, kayaking and hiking excursions. Kauai is a truly charming island where there are hardly any chain restaurants and there are traffic-free open roads. You might want to combine a stay here with a stay at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Waikiki for shopping and nightlife.
