Day 1 - Arrival in Bangkok
On arrival in Bangkok, Metropolitan staff will greet you and drive you via private car to the hotel. After settling in, enjoy a COMO Shambhala Massage. Dinner is at glow, the Metropolitan’s restaurant serving healthful COMO Shambhala Cuisine. Overnight: Metropolitan Bangkok

Day 2 - Bangkok to Bhutan
After your early morning ?ight to Bhutan you will be met by Uma Paro staff at the airport for the 10 minute transfer to the property. After settling in, our ?rst foray into the Kingdom begins with sightseeing in Paro town and a visit to a local temple. The afternoon provides an opportunity to acclimatise to the altitude and to get to know your guide, who will offer some additional sightseeing options for the rest of the day depending on your interests and energy levels. Day 3 - Paro to Punakha Valley
The capital Thimphu sprawls up the wooded western hillside of the Wang Chhu and is Bhutan’s centre of government, religion and commerce. You may wish to shop or drive to the town viewpoint at the Big Buddha statue. Day 4 - Punakha Valley Exploration
We have a full day for further exploration of the scenic Punakha Valley, which at 1,200m is low enough to allow bananas and oranges to grow. This morning we walk up through whitewashed homesteads and farmland to Khamsum Yuley Namgay Chorten, a shrine recently built by the royal family (the chorten can be clearly spotted from our breakfast table).This ornate and elaborate structure has a rainbow of Guru Rinpoche images and superb views. Day 5 - Punakha Valley to Paro
We have time to retrace our steps back over the Dochu La for a second chance of that wonderful view of the Himalayan range. Returning to the Chuzum or con?uence we catch a glimpse of the three shrines built in Nepalese, Tibetan and Bhutanese style to ward off evil spirits near the checkpoint. Time permitting the journey can be broken with a visit to Tachog Lhakhang built by Thangtong Gyalpo (the so-called Iron Bridge Builder). Day 6 - Highlights of the Paro Valley
One of the most amazing and important pieces of architecture in Bhutan is Taktsang Goemba, or Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Legend has it that this cliffside was where Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) landed on the back of a ?ying tigress, bringing Buddhism to Bhutan from Tibet. Day 7 - Bhutan to Phuket (via Bangkok)
We ?y from Paro to Phuket, connecting in Bangkok for your onward ?ight. Point Yamu staff will greet you at the airport for your 20-minute transfer via private car to the property. We enjoy a leisurely afternoon by the 100 metre in?nity pool before dinner at Point Yamu’s Italian-inspired La Sirena restaurant, serving a selection of pastas, salads, seafood and antipasto platters. Day 8 - Day at leisure at Point Yamu
Today you can enjoy a day relaxing by the pool and enjoying the views. This afternoon you can take a Thai Massage at the COMO Shambhala Retreat. Later on, sip a signature Point Yamu cocktail while watching the sunset over Phang Nga Bay, before dinner either at the resort. Or you can try somewhere local recommended by our concierge. Day 9 - Day Trip to Phang Nga Bay, Koh Hong
Today we explore the natural wonders of Phang Nga Bay. The day begins with a relaxing boat trip into the bay before stopping at Koh Hong, a fascinating cave system where we will have the chance to kayak through the caves or explore the underwater world with snorkels. Next we travel on to ‘James Bond Island’ made famous by the ?lm The Man with the Golden Gun. Day 10 - Visit to Phuket Old Town or Guided Cycling Adventure
Today you can choose to visit the old town of Phuket or head out on a cycling adventure exploring the local national park. Day 11 - Phuket to Bangkok
After a leisurely breakfast at La Sirena, we transfer to Phuket Airport for the ?ight to Bangkok. On arrival, a private transfer will take you to the Metropolitan where the afternoon is free for shopping and sightseeing. Day 12 - Bangkok Sightseeing
After breakfast at glow restaurant, we meet our guide for a half day private tour of some of Bangkok’s most iconic sites. The day starts at the Grand Palace, which dates back to 1782, when the capital was moved from Ayutthaya to Bangkok.
