Hotel Overview

Set within the Stowe Mountain Resort, approximately 10 minutes drive from the heart of the charming village of Stowe is the luxurious and eco-friendly Stowe Mountain Lodge, opened in 2008. With a timber exterior, Stowe Mountain Lodge offers a warm interior and has been decorated in a traditional New England style with oranges, reds and yellows. A real treat for keen golf enthusiasts, Stowe Mountain Club Golf Course, is a championship 18 hole golf course.

Choose from a selection of 312 accommodations which include 2, 3 and 4 bedroom Club Level rooms and private mountain cabins. Rooms offer mountain views which can be enjoyed from the large windows, a separate shower and tub, an LCD flat screen television, iPod dock, wireless access and most feature a balcony, fireplace and kitchenette.

During a stay at the Stowe Mountain Lodge, enjoy access to all of the resort’s amenities including; the boutique shops, golf concierge service, fly fishing service and Alpine Concierge service. Relax at the huge Spa where there is a heated outdoor swimming pool and wellness and fitness centre. Golf lovers can play at the Stowe Mountain Club Golf Course, an 18 hole par 72 championship course, voted #1 ‘Golf Resort in the Northern US’ by Condé Naste Traveller. At the Stowe Mountain Lodge, dine at Solstice where local and organic produce is served (for breakfast and dinner), at the Aqua Pool Bar for lunch (open in the summer only) and enjoy cocktails, wines and microbrews at Hourglass. 

Located 15 minutes away from Stowe Mountain Lodge: Bingham Waterfalls and the opportunity to go on horse and carriage rides. Located 30 minutes away: glider rides, the Ben & Jerry's factory, Green Mountain coffee tour, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Cabot Creamery, Boyden Valley Winery (wine and cheese tasting) and horseback riding at Windy Willows Farm. Located 45 minutes away: Downtown Burlington, Lake Champlain and historic Montpelier. 

Please note from August 2014, there are construction works taking place for two summers and one winter including a new ski chair lift, club facilities, outdoor ice rink and kids activity centre. Please note these works will not directly affect you staying in the Lodge as the development is a part of the resort.

Stowe Mountain Lodge Room Details

Classic rooms are 450 square feet and have views of the ski slopes, mountains or pool. There is a king or double/double bed configuration.
Timberline Studio
Timberline Studios have pool or Spruce Peak views, a private outdoor terrace, king size bed and a queen or double sized sleeper sofa. The kitchenette has a stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, Cuisinart cookware and Simon Pearce dishware.
Ridgeline Studio
Ridgeline Studios have mountain views, an outdoor terrace, king size bed, sleeper sofa, kitchenette with stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, Cuisinart cookware and Simon Pearce dishware, bathroom with tub and fireplace.
Alpine Studio

How do I talk to a specialist in USA holidays?

Within our experienced team we have visited most of the properties we feature and will be able to give you expertise and specialist knowledge from our first hand experience. Do I have to travel on certain dates and only do the itineraries suggested?

No, we tailormake all our holidays and subject to availability you will be able to travel on any date. The itineraries and holidays on our website are for inspiration and are suggestions only, you can change any aspect according to your personal requirements and available spend.

How far in advance should I book my holiday?

Many customers are under the illusion that booking late secures the best prices. This is often not the case and it is advisable to book early especially if travelling in peak seasons such as Christmas, Easter or school holidays. Many hotels and airlines actually offer special “Early Booking Offers” so you are able to secure the best price early on.

I don’t know what board basis to book. Can I eat out locally, should I consider All Inclusive?

What can I do when I get there?
