The 4 star beach front Sol Rio de Luna y Mares is made up of two hotels, Sol Rio de Luna and Sol Rio de Mares and is set on one of Cuba's most spectacular beaches, Playa Esmeralda in the resort area of Guardalavaca.

The resorts 464 rooms and suites offer resort, garden and sea views, and there are a small selection of very spacious Family Sea View Suites that offer a separate bedroom and lounge area for additional privacy. Sol Rio de Luna y Mares offers an extensive range of all inclusive facilities for all the family to enjoy, laze by one of the resorts two swimming pools, or join an aqua aerobics class, try your hand at archery or hone your tennis skills on one of the two tennis courts. Enjoy a game of mini-golf, badminton or join in a dance or Spanish class. Down at the spectacular beach there are sun lounges, parasols and a range of non-motorised water activities for you to enjoy, choose from windsurfing, sailing, kayaks or snorkelling.

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares offers a wide range of cuisines for you to enjoy, the two buffet restaurants serve an international selection of dishes, Mexican, Cuban, Italian and Mediterranean are served in the evenings either down by the beach or by the pool.

The evenings can be spent strolling in the moonlight along the soft white sands of Playa Esmeralda or at one of the bars, alternatively beach discos and live evening entertainment are available for those looking for a livelier time.
