To experience another part of Saint Lucia, take the 1.5mile stroll to the Vigie Peninsular, found on the north side of Castries harbour. It is a gentle walk offering stunning sea views.
A visit to the Water Garden Spa is a must; book you and your partner into a couples treatment room for a Balinese Massage.
Head to the Champagne Bar between 7-8 pm to sample a different sparkling wine each evening.
Since the Barnard family opened Rendezvous in the 1960’s, the ethos has been to create an idyllic retreat dedicated to couples. To this day, that has been achieved with sophistication and elegance. Surrounded by seven acres of tropical gardens, this elegant all-inclusive resort provides a romantic escape for couples.
Once a vast coconut estate, Rendezvous is now an intiimate yet sociable hotel, where guests can set the pace. While away sun drenched days on the two-mile stretch of white sand Malabar beach or discover a discreet hideaway island in the midst of the lazy river that winds around the resort’s verdant gardens with its very own water-waiter service.
With 3 restaurants and 2 bars, you will be spoilt for choice during your stay. The Terrace is an open-air restaurant overlooking the Caribbean Sea, serving meals buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Trysting Place is the restaurant to visit for those extra special occasions, where you can sample a French classic a la Carte menu that changes every three nights. A guitarist playing in the background adds to the romantic experience. The Malabar Beach Club is the latest addition to the Rendezvous dining scene, offering a toes-in-the-sand dining experience. Leave your shoes at the door and enjoy the Caribbean fare, where only the freshest local island ingredients are used.
With such an emphasis on relaxation, the Spa in the Water Garden is at the heart of Rendezvous. Choose from individual treatments, or enjoy a couple’s ritual alongside your partner. Next, the Champagne Bar offers a decadent sundowner with sparkling wine tastings 6 nights per week, before your evening meal. Everything from elegant beachfront dining to fine-dining is available with ambient live music adding to the atmosphere. Retire to your room, cottage or suite, relax on the balcony or veranda, and listen to the gentle waves of the Caribbean Sea.
