Hotel Overview

Insider's View

  • To experience another part of Saint Lucia, take the 1.5mile stroll to the Vigie Peninsular, found on the north side of Castries harbour. It is a gentle walk offering stunning sea views.
  • Rendezvous really has thought of all the ingredients necessary to create an unforgettable, couples-only holiday. Join a group on a Tuesday or Friday and take a sunset walk along the beach.
Since the Barnard family opened Rendezvous in the 1960’s, the ethos has been to create an idyllic retreat dedicated to couples. To this day, that has been achieved with sophistication and elegance.

Rendezvous is small and intimate yet very sociable, guests set the pace. While away sun drenched days on the two-mile stretch of white sand Malabar beach or discover a discreet hideaway island in the midst of the lazy river that winds around the resort’s verdant gardens with its very own water-waiter service.

With such an emphasis on relaxation, the Spa in the Water Garden is at the heart of Rendezvous. Choose from individual treatments, or enjoy a couple’s ritual alongside your partner. Next, the Champagne bar offers a decadent sundowner with sparkling wine tastings 6 nights per week, before your evening meal. Everything from elegant beachfront dining to fine-dining is available with ambient live music adding to the atmosphere. Retire to your room, cottage or suite, relax on the balcony or veranda, and listen to the gentle waves of the Caribbean Sea.

Customer Hotel Reviews

M Stagg says:

Everything went to plan. The rep in St Lucia (Margaret) was very efficient and friendly. The Rendezvous Resort was excellent. Really great staff; they were the highlight and are what will make the difference between a hotel being very good and excellent. Food and drink were exceptional; in terms of facilities the hotel has just about everything although the watersports could be better. Highly recommend the hotel, W&O and St Lucia.

Peter Allen says:

We had a fantastic time at the Rendevouz meeting lots of nice people from around the world. The St Lucian people are some of the friendliest I have met in all the travelling we have done, nothing was too much trouble in the hotel. We were happy with the accommodation we had, only that it could have been updated a little but that is just nit picking. Excellent hotel with excellent service. We would certainly go again!

Hi Tom,
I thought at least we would put the winter weather behind us and return to spring sunshine – no such luck!

Anyhow, just a note on the 2 hotels you booked for us. I know you know them both well, but as you may have realised by now, I can’t resist passing on my comments as well!

Rendezvous
Different kettle of fish altogether, and when we walked into the hotel from East Winds we definitely wondered if we’d made a big mistake. However, we were warmly greeted by Yasmine, the Manager, who could not have been more helpful and kept asking if everything was OK; we had a lovely room (thanks for the upgrade!), and loved the setting of the hotel. You may be surprised to hear that we thought the food in general was better here than at East Winds, and the small Trysting restaurant, where we had 3 dinners, was absolutely excellent. Loved the long beach for morning & evening walks, and the hotel had been cleverly designed so that there was one quiet pool, and one with the noisy active crowd; likewise on the beach there was an activity end and a quiet end, and a quiet champagne bar for the evenings if you didn't want to listen to loud music. So something for everyone, and we thought a good recommendation on your part!

We hired a car for 2 days and drove round the island which was great. Delighted we weren’t in a hotel on Rodney Bay as although the beach was lovely, it was as crowded as Brighton on a hot Bank Holiday. Also went down to the Pitons & had lunch at Sugar Beach. Obviously a lovely hotel on a beautiful bay, but miles from anywhere and the steep hill would have been a nightmare.

So, very sad to be back because we loved St Lucia, and thank you again for the trouble you took over organising our hotels.

Mr & Mrs Deans says:

Hi Tom,
Just a quick note to say that we had the best holiday ever - lovely people and very nice rooms. We had a bit of rain during the fortnight but not enough to spoil anything. We shall definitely be returning in the future.

Thanks for all your help.

Kind regards,
Sue

How To Book

How do I talk to a specialist in St Lucia holidays?

We are happy to give you a call back to discuss your holiday at a convenient time for you or we welcome you to come to our office in central London to discuss your holiday in detail.

Why use our specialist service?

Our destination experts provide a personalised service to tailormake your dream holiday. Within our experienced team we have visited most of the properties we feature and will be able to give you expertise and specialist knowledge from our first hand experience. You will be offered a direct telephone number, so you are able to speak to the same specialist from the time you pick up the phone until your documents are sent out.

Do I have to travel on certain dates and only do the itineraries suggested?

No, we tailormake all our holidays and subject to availability you will be able to travel on any date. The itineraries and holidays on our website are for inspiration and are suggestions only, you can change any aspect according to your personal requirements and available spend.

How far in advance should I book my holiday?

Many customers are under the illusion that booking late secures the best prices. This is often not the case and it is advisable to book early especially if travelling in peak seasons such as Christmas, Easter or school holidays. Many hotels and airlines actually offer special “Early Booking Offers” so you are able to secure the best price early on.

I don’t know what board basis to book. Can I eat out locally, should I consider All Inclusive?

It's always a difficult decision to make before you travel. Call one of our destination experts, who will be happy to advise you on local restaurants and prices you can expect to pay in resort.

What can I do when I get there?

There are many excursions, activities and highlights that are not to be missed out on, whilst in the country. Please contact our experts for advise on whether to prebook these before travel.

What financial protection do you offer?

When booking through Western and Oriental, if your flight is delayed or cancelled due to bad weather or you have a problem in resort it is our responsibility you are taken care of. We offer a 24 hour emergency number to assist with any issues you may have in resort and all of our flight inclusive holidays are financially protected through ATOL bonding for your protection.
