The Melia Cayo Santa Maria is wonderfully set beside a 400 metre long white sandy beach and within 12 hectares of ground in Cayo Santa Maria. A good all-inclusive resort for couples and families.
The resort offers 360 brightly coloured and comfortable rooms including two larger suites. Rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, a satellite television, coffee maker and mini bar. Services at the resort include: 24 hour room service, a currency exchange, beauty salon and babysitting service on request at an additional charge.
During your stay at the Melia Cayo Santa Maria, swim in the three pools, enjoy complimentary water sports (shared with the sister Sol resort) such as kayaking, snorkelling and windsurfing, visit the gym and sauna and Jacuzzi (also at the sister resort) and enjoy the entertainment programme. This may include: cookery lessons, Spanish and dancing classes, an ecological tour, bike trips, games and yoga. Additional water sports such as fishing and scuba diving are chargeable. Be sure to visit the YHI Spa for relaxing and rejuvenating treatments on your holiday. Children can go to the mini club with children’s pool where there may be a mini show, a mini disco and mini football activities!
At this nice beachfront resort, there are a good array of restaurants and bars. Dine at the buffet restaurant Santa Maria del Mar for all three meals, at the a la carte El Portuario for Mediterranean cuisine and at Casa da Vinci for Italian dishes. Snacks can be enjoyed at Barbecue Ranchon on the beach and in the pool area. Also, enjoy drinks from the four bars; the Aqua bar, Beach bar, Lobby bar and Piano bar.

These rooms boast views of the sea from the terrace and are equipped with twin or king beds. Rooms offer an internet connection at an additional charge.
There are only 2 suites spread over 65m² and boasting a terrace overlooking the sea. These rooms offer a sitting room, two bathrooms and a bedroom with a king bed.

How far in advance should I book my holiday?
Many customers are under the illusion that booking late secures the best prices. I don’t know what board basis to book. Can I eat out locally, should I consider All Inclusive?
