Kuredu Island Resort
Lying in the Lhaviyani Atoll, just 40 minutes by seaplane from Male, is Kuredu Island Resort with three resorts within one island - Kuredu's bungalows and villas line the white sand beach whilst the lovely Water villas are in Sangu Resort (adult only), or there are the contemporary O Villas in O-Resort.
All rooms feature every convenience you would expect from an internationally recognised resort; from CD player and mini bar to sun loungers in your terrace. From the simple Bonthi Garden Bungalows up to the top Sultan Pool Villas, they will all provide a comfortable stay in a memorable setting.
Kuredu's dining options are also impressive with four main restaurants (one per resort area) for main meals, three additional a la carte themed restaurants for those special dinners where you can sample specialities of the Mediterranean, Far East or freshly grilled fish or meat on the beach. There are also seven bars and two tea venues for refreshment day and night.
Kuredu's range of activities is second to none in the Maldives, boasting Asia's largest dive centre with hyperbaric chamber, golf club with pitch and putt and driving range and PGA certified golf pro, and the Maldives' largest water sports facility, largest spa and a choice of exciting excursions to experience. Kuredu Island Resort Room Details
Bonthi Garden Bungalows (40)
Located in the north eastern section of the island, these are set back from the beach, behind the 'O' Beach villas. All can take two extra beds and are ideal for families. Guests dine at Bonthi main restaurant.
Bonthi Beach Bungalows (90)
These family friendly bungalows are located on the northern beach and have a four poster bed and space for up to two children sharing, a private garden area, outdoor bathroom with shower, and furnished with rattan furniture. Guests dine at Bonthi main restaurant.
O Beach Villas or Koamas Beach Villas
O Beach Villas are located in the north east part of the island and enjoy fantastic sunrises. They only allow guests 12yrs and over and are allocated to dine at "O Restaurant". Koamas Beach Villas allow children and are set beside the beach in the southern central part of the island and guests are allocated to dine at "Koamas Restaurant".
All beach villas have ocean views, a spacious bedroom and a lounge area, open sided bathroom with shower, private garden and a verandah with chairs.
O Jacuzzi Beach Villas, Koamas Jacuzzi Beach Villas, Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villas
O Jacuzzi Beach Villas (Over 12yrs only and dine at O Restaurant), Koamas Jacuzzi Beach Villas allow children (dine at Koamas Restaurant) and Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villas (Over 18 yrs only and dine at Sangu Restaurant) are set on the southern part of the island but with a romantic private jacuzzi set in the private garden to the rear of your room.
Sangu Water Villa and Sangu Water Villa Suites
Situated over the lagoon on stilts, these Water Villas (over 18yrs only) have a private deck with loungers and access to the water via steps. They are situated at the western end of Kuredu. Larger Sangu Water Villa Suites (picture) are also available with additional sitting room and a jacuzzi on the deck. Guests dine at Sangu Restaurant.
Sultan Pool Villas
Found in the central west area of the island these are a home away from home with open-sided lounge, large deck with 60 m swimming pool and loungers, all set in a private garden enclosed by tropical foliage for privacy. The master bedroom has king bed, iPod dock, walk in dressing area, pantry with wine cooler, spacious open air bathroom with walk in shower and a Jacuzzi bath. On the beach is a private sun cabana. The Villa can be booked as one or two bedrooms and sleep 2 adults and 2 children in each villa.

How far in advance should I book my holiday?
Many customers are under the illusion that booking late secures the best prices. This is often not the case and it is advisable to book early especially if travelling in peak seasons such as Christmas, Easter or school holidays. Many hotels and airlines actually offer special “Early Booking Offers” so you are able to secure the best price early on.
I don’t know what board basis to book. Can I eat out locally, should I consider All Inclusive?

What financial protection do you offer?
When booking through Western and Oriental, if your flight is delayed or cancelled due to bad weather or you have a problem in resort it is our responsibility you are taken care of. We offer a 24 hour emergency number to assist with any issues you may have in resort and all of our flight inclusive holidays are financially protected through ATOL bonding for your protection.
Restaurants / Bars
Bonthi Restaurant is located in the centre of the island and is the main restaurant for Beach Bungalow guests. It serves international and local cuisine and themed nights from around the world.
O Restaurant with a deck over the water is located on the east of the island has an ambience of being one with nature and does not accept children under 12yrs.
Koamas Restaurant is located in the centre of the resort, serving international and local buffets with show cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This restaurant is used by Koamas Beach Villa guests and Koamas Jacuzzi Beach Villa guests.
Sangu Restaurant is located in the south west part of the island and is only available to over 18yrs.
Please Note: Restaurants open for breakfast between 8am - 10am, lunch 1pm - 2.30pm and dinner 7.30pm - 9.30pm. Guests in Beach Villas, Jacuzzi Beach Villas and Water Villas can dine in other restaurants with a reservation

The Maldives Islands are generally warm and humid, the sun shines all year round, with average temperatures around 29 - 30 degrees Celsius. The hottest month on average is April and the coolest December. The weather is determined largely by the monsoons, however, January to April are the driest months and May till October on average records the highest rainfall.
