Hotel Overview

Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort is set on a 300 acre private island situated a short seven-minute private catamaran ride from the north coast of Antigua. This sophisticated and secluded all-inclusive Caribbean hideaway is legendary for providing discerning travellers with world-class service and amenities. Jumby Bay comprises 40 beautifully refurbished rooms, suites and a number of luxurious Caribbean vacation villas which are spread over nearly a third of the island.

Traditional Rondavel Rooms occupy a serene and simple setting on the Western side of the island, whilst the 28 new suites each offer spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. The decor embodies the island's stylish taste with ginger-coloured tiled floors, a soothing palette of pale cream and cafe au lait, woven bamboo mats and richly coloured woods and cane chairs. Your private veranda features elegant teak furniture whilst the bedrooms have a colonial-style four-poster bed with fine Italian linens and luxurious bathroom.

Sense, A Rosewood Spa®, Jumby Bay, offers six exquisite treatment suites which surround a dramatic sculptured garden, each suite features a private terrace overlooking the sea, allowing you to relax and savour sumptuous treatments in a beautiful Caribbean environment.

Dining can be anything from a casual affair at the Pool Grille and Bar, set by the infinity edge swimming pool, to fine Continental cuisine with an emphasis on seafood and steaks at the Verandah Restaurant and Bar. For grab-and-go lunches, the Beach Shack will offer continental breakfast and a smoothie bar as well as delicious local street food such as lobster or chicken rotis, ceviche, while in-room dining during the day is also available (at a small charge).

The island has two excellent sunbathing beaches plus Pasture Beach which is a protected nesting site of the endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtle. Other activities on the island include walking or cycling along the winding paths lined with lofty palms, there are two resort swimming pools, a croquet lawn and a putting green. For the more active, work out in the state-of-the-art fitness centre, play on one of the three tennis courts or enjoy the complimentary non-motorised water-sports which include windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and snorkelling.

Rose Buds is a programme designed for the youngest guests of Jumby Bay, from kids' menus to special events and fun activities including Little Chefs, Wildlife and Ocean Adventures, Discover Science, Pirates of the Caribbean and much more.
