Jetwing Lighthouse is set in 7 acres of grounds overlooking the Indian Ocean about 10 minutes from Galle in the southwest of Sri Lanka, about 3 hours from Colombo airport.
The rooms all enjoy panoramic views of the ocean and the coastline and the hotel's design is influenced by Dutch colonial architecture, also reflected in the interior decor of rooms and suites. Located adjacent to two crescent shaped beaches located either side of the property, the hotel also has a large pool area, a lovely Spa and a choice of sport and leisure activities. For sightseeing, the historic Dutch fortress town of Galle is a little over a mile away, easily reached by local taxi or tuk-tuk!.
The hotel offers 60 deluxe rooms and 3 suites, charmingly but simply decorated, using local materials and polished wood floors.

Rooms designed down to the smallest detail in order for you to feel relaxed and comfortable. A king sized bed, air conditioning and free WiFi are a few off the conveniences provided to make you feel at home.
These rooms are located alongside their famous spa and only a few steps from the pool, and the mainly wood decor also provides a warm, relaxing ambiance.
The Maharaja Suite is very spacious and provides you many luxuries, such as drinking champagne on your own balcony in your Jacuzzi whilst watching the sun set over the sea. The John Davy suite provides a much more regal experience and emulates British culture in a tropical setting.
These suites pay homage to three ancient travelers to Sri Lanka. The Fa-hsein suite is elegantly designed with vases and mahjong tiles featuring. The Ibn-Batuta suite has views of the Indian Ocean and is based primarily around the calming shades of blue and white. Finally, the Spilbergen suite. This suite pays homage to the heritage of Dutch in Sri Lanka, decorated in various blues with wicker furniture, it gives of the atmosphere of relaxation and indulgence.
