Havana, Cuba

Hotel Overview

Hotel San Miguel is a real treat for those that prefer a small intimate hotel where you are sure to receive a personalised service. This Old Havana Hotel is more like staying in someone's private mansion and is set in a privileged location close to the Museum of The Revolution and the Malecon.

San Miguel has been carefully restored to ensure many of its original features remain and most of the hotels furniture and decor are the original, which is apparent in the faded and worn upholstered arm chairs and sofa in the lobby area which adds to authentic atmosphere of a bygone era.

This delightful boutique hotel offers only 10 rooms, five of which feature private balconies with views street views. The second floor restaurant is bathed in natural sunlight, enjoy relaxing on the adjacent Sevillana terrace and roof terrace where you can take in the views of the harbour and Morro Castle lighthouse.

Hotel San Miguel is a very popular choice for those seeking a unique and authentic old havana experience and the hotel becomes fully booked well in advance. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all of Old Havana's major sightseeing attractions and there are many local restaurants nearby. Make sure you take a stroll along the Malecon jsut before sunset, a favourite pastime of Habaneros.

Do I have to travel on certain dates and only do the itineraries suggested?

How far in advance should I book my holiday?

Many customers are under the illusion that booking late secures the best prices. This is often not the case and it is advisable to book early especially if travelling in peak seasons such as Christmas, Easter or school holidays. Many hotels and airlines actually offer special “Early Booking Offers” so you are able to secure the best price early on.

I don’t know what board basis to book. Can I eat out locally, should I consider All Inclusive?
