Set just across the river from the Kanha National Park lies the serene Banjaar Tola, A Taj Safari Lodge. Split into two camps, each with 9 tented suites, Banjaar Tola offers guests to the national park elegant tented accommodation as well as unique dining and safari experiences.

Each eco-friendly tented suite has been built from locally sourced sustainable materials with bamboo floors, canvas walls and glass doors leading out to a deck overlooking the Banjaar River. Decorated with handiwork from Madhya Pradesh, the suites are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, en suite bathrooms, in room safe, personal bar, telephone and hairdryer.

On arrival at Banjaar Tola, enjoy a welcome drink in the lounge whilst breakfasts can be taken on the verandah or if you’re on a safari drive, in hot boxes. Unique dining experiences available at Banjaar Tola include intimate bush dinners, jungle banquets, riverside or poolside dining.

At Banjaar Tola, go on twice daily safari excursions in the open safari vehicles with trained guides who have undergone 14-20 week training programmes. There is a chance you may see tigers, endangered deer, jackals, striped hyenas and leopards. There are also opportunities to go on nature walks and safari trips on elephant back.

How far in advance should I book my holiday?

Many customers are under the illusion that booking late secures the best prices. This is often not the case and it is advisable to book early especially if travelling in peak seasons such as Christmas, Easter or school holidays. Many hotels and airlines actually offer special “Early Booking Offers” so you are able to secure the best price early on.

I don’t know what board basis to book. Can I eat out locally, should I consider All Inclusive?

What can I do when I get there?

What financial protection do you offer?

When booking through Western and Oriental, if your flight is delayed or cancelled due to bad weather or you have a problem in resort it is our responsibility you are taken care of. We offer a 24 hour emergency number to assist with any issues you may have in resort and all of our flight inclusive holidays are financially protected through ATOL bonding for your protection.
