Hotel Overview

Insider's View

  • Upgrade to a Kasara Room or Suite for exclusive access to the 37th floor Kasara Lounge and complimentary benefits such as evening cocktails and canapés
Set in the midst of the busy city of Bangkok, the Anantara Sathorn Bangkok is ideal for those who love to shop and provides easy access to the city’s most popular attractions.
Boasting a number of different room categories each offering stunning cityscape views, the accommodation is contemporary utilising clean lines, minimalist furniture, and neutral hues accented with pastel shades in its soft furnishings. Guests will enjoy the balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows that each room and suite offers, while the mod cons including Wi-Fi, satellite TV and air conditioning will provide a home-away-from-home feeling.
Although there is plenty to do outside the hotel, inside guests can make use of the plethora of activities on offer. Our favourites include perfecting your game on the tennis courts with a fully-qualified instructor, and making the most of the glorious weather in the infinity pool, which stretches between the two towers of the hotel. The sun deck and poolside bar are firm favourites too. For something a little more educational,
head to the Spice Spoons, Anantara’s cooking school, for a guided tour of the local markets and the chance to learn how to make some Thai delights.
A real magnet for this hotel is the Anantara Spa. With its vast therapy menu, guests can indulge in some traditional Thai rituals following a hard day exploring or working. There are also a number of restaurants to choose from that serve regional delights and western classics. Experience ZOOM Sky Bar and Restaurant, the chic rooftop bar with 360-degree views of the city.

Elephant Hills was absolutely excellent. So well catered and the food was excellent, service could not be faulted and the itinerary was perfect. The floating tents were a real luxury!

Overall our experience was very positive. The hotels were excellent but I would particularly like to mention our guide who was with us in Bangkok on our excursion to the floating markets - he was fantastic and extremely helpful. Overall our experience was very positive. A massive thank you to Western & Oriental for planning the perfect holiday for my partner and I. We booked our Thailand trip after two painful weeks of trying to book through other websites/travel agents. We told the agent exactly what we were looking for with our budget and the package presented to us was even better than we imagined. I would recommend Western & Oriental to friends and family and will hopefully book the next trip with them too. Thank you again - 5 stars!

An outstanding holiday - we have told many people how good Western&Oriental were and would definitely use you again. Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp was an outstanding part of the holiday. Good price and outstanding service!

Lorraine Whalley says:

A fabulous trip extremely well organised by Anna. Great accommodation choice, tour guide was great and showed us around Bangkok very efficiently so we saw as much as the time allowed us. The hotel in Phuket was lovely with a good choice of restaurants just outside the restore which was accessed by a free shuttle bus from the hotel. The hotel restaurants were very expensive with limited menus you needs to love fish ? Elephant hills was the highlight of our trip. It's a brilliantly organised resort with a full programme during the stay. Loved the whole trip thanks for organising it so well we definitely couldn't of done it as well ourselves

Stephen Reeves says:

Your sales consultant Ricky Coates did a great job - a big thank you to him for what he did for us. The hotels, Angsana Laguna Phuket and Anantara Bangkok Sathorn, were very good in all respects, and the representatives who met us did a great job too - they were very helpful and keen to be of service.

How To Book

How do I talk to a specialist in Thailand holidays?

We are happy to give you a call back to discuss your holiday at a convenient time for you or we welcome you to come to our office in central London to discuss your holiday in detail.

Why use our specialist service?

Our destination experts provide a personalised service to tailormake your dream holiday. Within our experienced team we have visited most of the properties we feature and will be able to give you expertise and specialist knowledge from our first hand experience. You will be offered a direct telephone number, so you are able to speak to the same specialist from the time you pick up the phone until your documents are sent out.

Do I have to travel on certain dates and only do the itineraries suggested?

No, we tailormake all our holidays and subject to availability you will be able to travel on any date. The itineraries and holidays on our website are for inspiration and are suggestions only, you can change any aspect according to your personal requirements and available spend.

How far in advance should I book my holiday?

Many customers are under the illusion that booking late secures the best prices. This is often not the case and it is advisable to book early especially if travelling in peak seasons such as Christmas, Easter or school holidays. Many hotels and airlines actually offer special “Early Booking Offers” so you are able to secure the best price early on.

I don’t know what board basis to book. Can I eat out locally, should I consider All Inclusive?

It's always a difficult decision to make before you travel. Call one of our destination experts, who will be happy to advise you on local restaurants and prices you can expect to pay in resort.

What can I do when I get there?

There are many excursions, activities and highlights that are not to be missed out on, whilst in the country. Please contact our experts for advise on whether to prebook these before travel.

What financial protection do you offer?

When booking through Western and Oriental, if your flight is delayed or cancelled due to bad weather or you have a problem in resort it is our responsibility you are taken care of. We offer a 24 hour emergency number to assist with any issues you may have in resort and all of our flight inclusive holidays are financially protected through ATOL bonding for your protection.
