Why Dominican Republic?
Why the Dominican Republic?
With its hundreds of miles of dramatic coastline morphing from palm fringed, sugar-white sands through rugged cliff faces, windswept dunes, lush mangrove lagoons and sedate fishing villages, it is easy to see why the Dominican Republic is the most visited tourist destination in the Caribbean. It is also the most geographically diverse, boasting and interior of vast, rugged mountain ranges, fertile lowland, tangled jungle and dusty stretches of dry desert, haphazardly studded by charming, sun-drenched towns and villages, and crowned by the electric capital city, Santo Domingo.

What is the best time to visit the Dominican Republic?
The Dominican Republic enjoys year round warm weather; the high season tends to run from January through to April, while July through to September is hurricane season, although storms rarely affect the country for more than 24 hours. Due to the Mardi Gras festivals and celebrations, the weeks leading up to the Easter holidays are usually extremely popular and busy.
