Ranthambore National Park Holidays

Holidays in Ranthambore National Park

Perhaps the best known of the National parks in India, conveniently located within easy reach of the popular golden triangle tour, Ranthambore enjoys a range of accommodation and a well developed infrastructure. A national park synonymous with the elusive tiger, it is one of the best places in India to see these majestic predators in the jungle and tigers can be easily spotted even during the day.  Ranthambore covers some 400 square kilometres of Eastern Rajasthan, midway between Bharatpur and Kota.

A former hunting ground for the Maharaja of Jaipur, it is now a wildlife sanctuary under the protection of Project Tiger. Along with the Bengal tiger Ranthambore is also home to a multitude of colorful bird life, deer and monkeys.
